Continuing Education for Yoga Teachers

Deepen your Practice
Widen your Perspective

We understand. Out there in the yoga world there are so many trainings and workshops that are interesting (at least at first glance), asking you to commit your time and money. And even though some of them might really call to you, you might be asking…

Should I really commit more energy into training? Because…

… maybe you are already teaching a few classes every week…
… or maybe your primary job is outside of the yoga world…
… or you have already updated your Vinyasa training twice…
… or maybe you feel like you could just figure it out as you go…
… or life is just full and making another commitment feels like madness!

Sure, there are a lot of reasons ‘why not.’
And they are probably all very good reasons.
BUT let us share with you why we keep on advancing our knowledge…

Your practice and perspective will widen.

There is no one right way to do Yoga. Sure, you might resonate with a particular method. But each and every time you invite new teachings into your life, you transform your practice. Sometimes it takes something very small to cue the ‘a ha!’ in your body, breath or mind and suddenly things are different. That moment, the ‘a ha!’, is only found when you put yourself out there to explore and re-examine.

You will discover new inspirations.

We all need moments that light us up, that get us excited about what we are doing. Without that, teaching Sun Salutations yet another time (in the same way) might begin to lose its heart. When we are filled with inspiration we will teach from that more exciting place and bring light into the lives of the people with whom we work.

You will meet new people.

Introvert or extrovert, you are going to meet someone that somehow connects with you and your experiences. Your connection may expand beyond the borders of the training and continue to be influential as you further your practice or teaching.

You could expand your offerings.

Pretty commonly, yoga teachers have been trained within one yoga niche. It is fine to be a Vinyasa Yoga teacher or an insert-your-style-here Yoga Teacher, but our trainings will bring you into new and revolutionary teaching ground. You might already be aware that the world of Kids and Aerial Yoga (for example) are generally under-explored and new?! That means when you bring them into your life, and your studio, you will have access to a whole new community. And that will enrich ALL of your classes.

You will grow your confidence.

Being a good Yoga Teacher calls for continuous learning and growing. Of course that could look like getting on your mat for hours every day (good job you if that is part of your life!). But realistically we tend to learn and grow in spurts - which is perfectly matched with immersive experiences and trainings ;) Jump in for something new and let your confidence take flight!

We have great immersive opportunities coming up to fill up your teacher toolkit. Scroll down to find the perfect training… we know they will add depth to your practice and width to your perspective. And if you are a registered Yoga Teacher with the Yoga Alliance each of these trainings is qualified for Continuing Education credits.
