YOUR TEACHERS
Emily Pease
Lead Instructor
E-RYT 500, RCYT
Yoga found Emily quite some years ago and it has been a regular part of her life ever since. It wasn’t until a handful of years after her 200HR Teacher Training at Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health (2008), and after her move to Switzerland, that Emily found her life leading her towards sharing her practice in a more formal setting as a teacher. More recently she has completed additional trainings related to Yoga Anatomy, Kids & Family Yoga, Aerial Yoga (Unnata Method of Aerial Yoga) and finished her 500HR teaching certification with Mark Stephens.
For Emily, stepping onto the yoga mat is a refreshing reminder of what is important to her — that which keeps her feeling creative, inspired and in a meaningful relationship with life. In her classes she likes to play with concepts that bring a sense of joy, freedom and playfulness.
KAT WALSER
Lead Instructor
E-RYT 500
Based in the picturesque Bay Area of California, Kat is a trailblazing yoga educator and the founder & former owner of California Yoga in Lugano, Switzerland. As one of the pioneers of aerial yoga in Switzerland, she introduced classes that skillfully integrated dynamic flow and yin aerial techniques grounded in the wisdom of yoga philosophy.
With more than 10,000 hours of teaching experience, Kat's expertise spans many styles (from Yin to Vinyasa to SUP Yoga) and ages (from birth to adulthood) as well as meditation. Her early mentor, Shiva Rea, deeply influenced her unique teaching style, which harmonizes yoga philosophy, intuitive and anatomically informed movement, diverse Eastern healing traditions and a profound sense of spiritual connection.
Kat’s classes are infused with humor, playfulness and compassion, creating an inspiring environment where students can explore strength, balance, and personal transformation — one mindful breath at a time.
