The course content is structured in a way to not overlap, so it won’t be repetitive if you take all 3 modules.

What is the age group that you feel most passionate about working? Start there!
If you love working with young children, take the Yoga for Younger Kids Module.
If you are passionate about supporting pre-teens through their entry into the emotional and exciting teen years, take the Yoga for Older Kids Module.
If you want to bring people and families closer together through yoga and play, take the Family and Community Yoga Module.
Starting with one Module is the best way to get the information into action with kids or youth as soon as possible. After making that first step, integrating the learning, consider continuing on…
If you are seeking Yoga Alliance accreditation you can start with any module at any time. They do not need to be taken in order.
-
As yoga teachers ourselves, we made sure the course content is structured in a way to not overlap, so it won’t be repetitive if you take all 3 modules. Each module is fun, engaging and sure to invite you into the nuances of each child’s age range.

Would you like to have the Registered Children's Yoga Teacher (RCYT) credential from Yoga Alliance? Here’s an overview of what you need:
200-Hour Training Requirement: You must already be a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200) with Yoga Alliance before applying for the RCYT credential.
95-Hour Children's Yoga Training: Complete a 95-hour children's yoga teacher training program that is registered with Yoga Alliance like us at YogaBloom. This training must focus on safe, effective, and age-appropriate yoga practices for children.
Teaching Experience: After completing the 95-hour training, you need 30 hours of experience teaching yoga to children, which can include supervised teaching as part of the training.
Ethical Commitment: Like all Yoga Alliance credentials, RCYT teachers must commit to their Code of Conduct, Scope of Practice, and Yoga Alliance’s policies, focusing on ethical teaching practices and inclusivity.
These credentials are not mandatory to teach Kids Yoga Classes. However, those teachers registered as RCYT have attended relevant classes to be well-prepared to offer safe, effective and engaging classes to children.
-
We love kids, but plenty of the content is theoretical and not so interesting to little yogis. The general training hours are not open to child attendance.
However, we do invite your age-appropriate child or children to join you during our demonstration classes. The class attendance will be free for your child and included in your registration. Please register your child additionally (via email) for a reserved space during the demo classes.
