KIDS & FAMILY YOGA BASEL

 

Invite your child to find the spark of inspiration within a yoga practice designed just for them! YOGABLOOM offers child-centered classes, events and camps that explore yoga poses, breathing exercises, visual imagery and relaxation techniques while also conveying important qualities such as kindness and respect. Scroll down to view our classes just for kids and monthly classes for the whole family. Our child-centered classes are taught in English or Bilingually (German/English) but all languages are welcome. No prior yoga experience is needed to attend a child-centered class.

 

Family Yoga
2 - 6 yrs, + adult

Our children love to and need to BE with us. Practicing Yoga together can encourage deep connection. The acts of moving, breathing, creating and imagining together with your child can help you establish a powerful bond.

Family Yoga

Are you ready to turn your family’s world upside-down? Get playful with your child while practicing solo and partner yoga, flying postures, acrobatics and a bit of therapeutics & massage. Connect while being creatively challenged.

Toddler Yoga Series
2 - 4 yrs, + adult

4 Weeks, Fridays @ 15:15

Get your little one started on their yoga journey! Physical play joins creativity in this class attended by toddlers and an adult. Through animal poses, songs, stories and games we will slither and fly into new yoga worlds together.

Kids Yoga (eng)
Recommended 6 - 10 yrs

6 Weeks, Wednesdays @ 15:00

This series is designed to help your child develop important psychological, physical and emotional skills through yoga play and movement. In this supportive environment your child will make powerful connections with others and with their Self.

Youth Aerial Yoga (eng)
Recommended 8 - 12 yrs

Saturdays @ 9:30 - 10:30

We will use a soft and flexible hammock to lighten up, breathe and explore all the magnificent things the body can do. Practicing Aerial Yoga will enhance your child’s strength, confidence, flexibility, balance, coordination and more. 

6 Week Series, Begins 11. January

GLOWGA (Glow Yoga!)
Recommended 5 - 12 yrs

Saturdays @ 19:00

Send your child for a fun-filled evening of glow-in-the-dark yoga and play with a great community of kids and teachers. Together we will explore yoga games, try out a playful glowing yoga dance, create partner yoga positions and laugh a lot.

We started Toddler Yoga when my daughter was a little older than one. She was the youngest in the class but she dove right in and eventually learned the imaginative combination of songs and yoga movements that we practice in the studio - repeating them even when we are not in class. We love it. Even though our schedule is hectic, we refuse to miss a class!
