Alex’s unique teaching style draws on multiple yoga traditions, grounded in a deep knowledge of anatomy and physiology, to support a practice that adapts to each individual. ALEX PEREZ…

Alex is a yoga teacher and a licensed medical doctor. He uses his profound anatomical and physiological knowledge to adapt his guidance to the unique physiognomy of each of his students, herewith creating a safe environment for all to freely express their body wisdom through movement. Alex teaches workshops, trainings and festivals internationally. He is currently based in Berlin, Germany.

Balance Embodied
Friday, 21. February
18:00 - 20:00

At the convergence between ancient wisdom and modern science, this class is designed to create balance in the physical body as well as a sense of peace in the subtle body. Revolving around the myofascial spiral lines, this practice will take your body into unfamiliar yet highly beneficial poses and patterns. 

Handstand Exploration
Saturday, 22. February
10:00 - 12:30

Getting upside down can be a tricky experience! Hence overcoming the fear and developing the adequate physical support are going to be your main allies on this fun journey. In this introduction to handstand, you will build the components of a solid foundation for balance using the wall and partner work.

Fluid Transitions
Saturday, 22. February
14:00 - 16:30

Embark on a unique workshop with Alex, centered around the practice and understanding of yoga transitions. This workshop is about connecting the dots in your practice, unlocking the gateway to a deeper state of flow and moving meditation. Witness how transitions open the door to a heightened sense of presence.

 

Mechanics of Balance
Sunday, 23. February

Through a dynamic blend of flowing vinyasa, theoretical insights and targeted drills, you will learn to embody the principle of skill over strength. Alex will share techniques for building subtle body awareness and heightened proprioception, making the entry into any arm balance feel like a simple lean off the ground.

Myofascial Mobility
Sunday, 23. February

The journey to flexibility and embodiment is a beautiful path, filled with teachings and self inquiry. In this unique class, you will delve into the practice of unlocking your flexibility potential in the hips. The class will conclude by shifting back into the intuitive realm of the body, through chanting and connection.
