Instead of performing yoga poses on the mat, Aerial (Unnata®) Yoga offers an authentic and suspended take on the traditional postures of yoga. We will use the support of a soft, aerial fabric hammock to explore, refine and advance traditional postures while also exploring mindful strength, increased range of motion, body alignment and awareness of breath, body and the Bandhas. During this workshop-style class we will explore the basics so that you can join ongoing classes with the ease to let go into gravity.

Meet Emily Pease…
Yoga found Emily quite some years ago and it has been a regular part of her life ever since. It wasn’t until a handful of years after her 200HR Teacher Training at Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health (2008), and after her move to Switzerland, that Emily found her life leading her towards sharing her practice in a more formal setting as a teacher. More recently she has completed additional trainings related to Yoga Anatomy, Kids & Family Yoga, Aerial Yoga (Unnata Method of Aerial Yoga) and finished her 500HR teaching certification with Mark Stephens.
For Emily, stepping onto the yoga mat is a refreshing reminder of what is important to her - that which keeps her feeling creative, inspired and in a meaningful relationship with life. In her classes she likes to play with concepts that bring a sense of joy, freedom and playfulness.
